Artist's Comments

This is a portrait of Brian Duey, or some of you know him as :icongolfiscool:. He is one of my very first inspirations and motivators that got me into portraiture. I saw this picture on his website and thought it was very intense yet calming. I know it isn't very exact to the reference picture but I guess that gives it my touch...or whatever you call it. I adjusted it on Adobe and to be honest with you...the actual drawing up front looks alot better. Overall...I'm pretty happy with all of it.

excellent job, it even looks similar to his style, but it might just be the dramatic lighting in the photo

That is mega-impressive. On full-view the blending and shading is spot on! You did the contrast so well. I love his work too, he's very talented.
